FAQ

Q: What does CRUIS Edit mean?

A: Concealing Real URI Inline Site Editor

If you do not believe, that this is the real reason for choosing the name, you are damn right! On the one hand, "cruising" is similar to "surfing" and the basic idea of CRUIS Edit ist to have a minimum difference between editing and surfing while still using plain HTML. On the other hand, the first webpage done with CRUIS Edit was for a hotel with name "Seefahrer". That means "Seafarer" or - guess - somebody on a cruise. What a double match! Of course, it had to be an acronym ....
