Global Configuration

Account Management

Apart from configuring “Contacts” and “Contactgroups”, you have to specify in the cgi-config (e.g. cgi.cfg) which contacts have special rights for

  • Viewing System Information
  • Viewing all log data
  • Submitting system commands

Furthermore, you can define “Master” contacts, who have – independend from there group membership – the right to

  • view all hosts
  • view all services
  • submitt commands for all services
  • submitt commands for all hosts.

Search for nagiosadmin in the default cgi.cfg and you will find all lines to edit.
